Military and Medical Experience
Sawyer's military career includes two tours with the Vermont National Guard. She served as a Flight Medic in Iraq in 2006 and later as a Combat Medic and female engagement team leader in Afghanistan in 2010. Her expertise extends to her role as an EMT-P (Paramedic), showcasing her advanced medical skills.

In her spare time, Sawyer enjoys raising Bernese Mountain Dogs and tending to her mini-farm at her home in Vermont. She co-owns Healing All Wounds with her wife Judi, a company specializing in Remote & Wilderness Medical Education.
